Heavy Rain screens just the kind of downpour I was hoping for photo

Heavy Rain is, without a doubt, exactly the type of game that gets me all hot and bothered -- it deviates from the averagely successful modern game completely, choosing to strongly favor story over gameplay. A lot of gamers will think it's the most uninteresting thing ever and complain that "playing a movie" sounds stupid, but since gamers complain about everything, you shouldn't take those comments to heart too much.

If you've already seen video for the demo shown at Leipzig, you will recognize these stills, which were taken from that very demo. Now, you can save them from our gallery and drool over all their beautiful digital glory. Yum!

You're not the only one that's hot and bothered by this game. I can't wait to get my hands on this game.

This just smacks of "huge let-down." And isn't it less of a game and more of an interactive movie with QTEs? Not trolling, just seriously asking. That's what it looked like in the footage, and nothing I've heard denies it. It just seems like something ambitious and experimental that is likely to fail.

Also, they already released like half of these screenshots.

when will they stop releasing bullshots and give us some real screens? Or do you play a huge FMV?

I can't wait to see what happens when you let your character die as soon as possible. Let's see the game plot continue from there.

This is the kind of game that move gaming forward, as a medium and as a form of literature. Or as I like to call them: interactive narrative.

@ Wghj55 Well, I hope you are right. And I also hope that the whole thing don't just stutter at 10 frames per second
