Having beat Heavy Rain earlier, I find this to be really eerie. It's like some sort of deleted scene from the game.

Yeah, the DVD of Derailed has just as much gameplay as Heavy Rain.

they should release dlc to tie in the game with this movie. not like anyone cares about plot holes when developing the story anyhow.

You would think that such a studio praised for "originality" and "innovation" would have developed their own characters instead of simply mimicking their voice actors...

That is a stupid thing to say. Have you thought that maybe they hired said actor with the express purpose to model him in this role? I'm sure they developed their characters and went out and cast people that fit.
