Hah, excellent title!

It looks like a good game, pretty graphics. It's kind of hard to fuck up and FPS, and obviously Ubisoft is putting alot of time and cash into this. I expect good things from this one, don't blow it.

Talladega Nights is still the best on PS3. I don't care what anybody says.

Regarding the jaggies: That’s what happens when you downsample HD-sized images (1280×720) to 800×450 — a 60% reduction in size turns up the sharpness by a ton. I’m sure the original shots look beautiful.

As pointed out in an above post, the image has been downsampled and has lost a great amount of detail as a result. It is not indicative of the graphical quality of the game.

For those of you that actually OWN PS3s, you can download the high res trailers from the Playstation Store. They look/ play better than I expected and swayed me into pre-ordering the game.

I'm not one for the FPS genre, but it looks interesting. Oh, and stop with the Halo comparisons. For one, this game is true 720p, unlike Halo (cheap shot, I know). And secondly, unless I'm mistaken there isn't a half-baked alien/invasion/universe threatening plot. (I realize that evil multi-national corporations aren't exactly the most original material either, but still.) And to my knowledge, there is no one named Master or Chief present in Haze. (Being part Cherokee, I'm naturally confused as to whether or not he is a member of First Nations People.)

FPS share commonalities, as do all other genres. RPGS have spells, swords and the like. Puzzlers have, well, puzzles. Just because Haze has guns and co-op, does not mean that it is "copying" features; ones that are implicitly expected by the public as part of a 'next-gen' experience.

Its going to be tough to dethrone Talladega Nights.

Guys, this isn't a repost. Nex posted the screens, then Nick posted this article about four-player co-op and used the same screens. If anything, Nex failed to mention the four-player co-op that's made obvious in the one four-screen image. They're two different stories.

Yeah, the screens are a respost; I hadn't realized Nex had covered this, using screens he found elsewhere. I got the screens directly from Ubisoft, along with some four-player info, which is why my post was a bit different. So oopsie. It happens, but it's not the end of the world. Looks like some people hadn't seen them.

Regarding the resolution -- yeah, they were resized. The software we use to watermark images also happens to resize them, and I believe that was a decision made by Niero so that screens will fit in browsers better. I hear the complaints, and I'm totally going to looking at ways to post screens without resizing them.

As for the Talladega Nights jokes, yeah, they're getting kinda old. But if I do say so myself, that title was pretty damned good.
