That's a shame. Well, assuming it doesn't suck, at least I'll have an interesting FPS to play on the PS3, if I ever get one. I hope it can deliver.

That article is talking about the same build that was at Play the other day so unless they had 2 different builds there, it's not older. Also, Army of Two is proof that a delay will not always improve a game to greatness. It's not done yet so who knows, it could end up good, but nothing I've ever seen/heard about it was ever good beyond "Well. It's from Free Radical".

Oh. I didn't realize you had the inside track on the fact that the demo was rushed and bad. I'll be sure to ask you about all of the inside knowledge next time.

I'll also say that I HOPE it's good since there needs to be more 4-player co-op games in general. I'm just not getting my hopes up for this one.

I guarantee that you could have talked about any other possible PS3 exclusive and the results would be the same because people want to keep up the "PS3 has no games" mentality. They got mad when they finally started to accept MGS4s exclusivity, when FFXIII finally comes out, they'll say it's crap. They'll say Forza is WAAAY better than Gran Turismo. And of course they'll say that KZ2 is be trash.

This is not to say that PS3 fanboys don't do the same, but I know this fan didn't say "Halo is Gaylo". I just wish the other side could do the same

I also agree that this thread is littered with people that seem to be pissed their getting shafted on an exclusive..Join the party, my Ps3 loving ass has been shafted on many a 360 exclusive..I wish Bioshock and Lost Odd. would come to the PS3 in a big way...didn't Ms. Cleo that they would suck however...

Play it before you bash it...Don't have a PS3? Buy one or just be glad your 360 has so many exclusives that I can't play anymore now that I sold my 360 for a PS3..

That's respectable, but the thing is though, a lot of people here ARE bashing it because it's PS3 exclusive. And it's the same people that had interest in it when we thought it would come out on the 360. It's even worse over at Joystiq. I believe I saw a comment like "How did the PS3 get another exlcusive. Ubisoft is dumb for ignoring the larger Xbox install base. I guess this game will be crap then" Yet, even though the PS3 install base is sizable, that logic doesn't apply if a company "ignores the PS3 crowd". I do know that a console doesn't make a game, but I get sick of when people bash games JUST BECAUSE said game is not on their console of choice. PS3 fans bashed Bioshock...I know, I did it too, sadly. So it's a two way street, it's just that, once again, everyone want to keep being able to say "PS3 has no games" so when games actually do show up, they'll call them crap so that the statement can still hold true, because crap games don't really count towards a good library.

My example with Halo is how many PS fanboys react, simply because it's exclusive to Xbox, yet they would love to play it if it came to PS3. That's all that was. Everyone knows that Halo has grown to be one of the biggest franchises (due to being way overhyped, yes. I mean...Master Chief on Mountain Dew cans, and NASCAR....cars?) but it's still a decent game, but the majority of the naysayers only hate it because they can't play it.

Haze felt cool when I played it, but it was an early build. It really doesn't feel much different than any other FPS honestly, and the build we played was pretty solid. But I DO hope it becomes MORE than that in the end.

A part of me isn't interested as well because the PS3's online multiplayer interface is totally retarded. So in my mind that practically eradicates the ability to play with friends. Sure it's possible but it definitely won't be as easy as 360. Being able to invite people and read messages on the move is an amazing thing to do.

I really look forward to PS3 getting more and better exclusives. Mine keeps getting extremely dusty. Last thing I ever really played on it was Pain and Everyday Shooter. I played UT3 for awhile but didn't last long, same with Warhawk. I just got so frustrated with the online multiplayer interface.

Its presumed suckiness has nothing to do with it being on the PS3. It has everything to do with it being an original-IP FPS. Stop being over-sensitive fanboys.

and Sharpless actually has a valid point even though I'd disagree somewhat that all original-IP FPSs have a good chance of sucking.

Let me just say, I own a PS3 and I love it. I also own and love my wii and 360. I have also played Haze. I didn't like it and I thought it was average at best and although the ubisoft rep wouldn't tell me directly it was a pretty much near complete build of the game, he implied it.
