Haze has finally been given a release date. Rather, it's been given a general release window. Ubisoft has told us that the game will be released some time this May on the PS3. With the news of the release date comes the new trailer you see above.

Haze starts off with you working for the Mantel group whom use Nectar to increase their soldier's abilities and strength. Half way through the game, the main character sees that he's been on the wrong side and joins forces with the rebels and fights back against Mantel. Read up on my impressions of the game from PAX

Hopefully the game comes out as planned this time. Still no word on the Xbox 360 release ... Oh you know it's coming eventually.

Should be pretty awesome, if and when it finally arrives.

Free Radical games are always good. Finally, I'll have something to play on my PS3.

Hopefully.

The sooner it comes out, then theoretically, the sooner I can lick my screen when TimeSplitters 4 graces it.

This might actually be the first game I buy for my launch PS3!

If so, outrage, you're stupid. Or poor. Or both.

I hope the release date doesn't slip, or it's gonna get trampled by MGS4

Looks awfully generic for an FPS. The 4 player co-op is the only reason I'm giving this a whirl.

I was always intrigued by this game, but frankly, I don’t want another FPS.

@ lubczyk
How do you say it looks generic? It has more features in it than Halo 3. Team specific abilities, reversals, fain deaths, "nectar", and so on. It's made by the (practically) the same people who made GoldenEye 007 and Perfect Dark.

@ Takeshi: I got the PS3 for "free" with my Sony tv, and I am more than happy with just my 360. There hasn't really been any game to pull me away from it other than Uncharted and a few PSN games.

Saying that this might actually be the 1st game I buy for the PS3 is saying alot.

can't be generic, songs by Korn! whoever that is...i think the graphics look suhweet, but like any game suffering many delays, i am skeptical.

Looks unbelievably lame. And Korn is the real killer for me. One more reason I won't be getting a PS3.

@xmetninjax, lol. A game coming out on a console is a reason not to get it? Sigh.

Why can i not hear about Haze without this coming to mind?

“Gaming for me is a religion and Haze is the shit!” said Jonathan Davis. “I had to come up with a track that can hit up that kind of rush I get from the game and I think we really rocked it!!"

What a douche.

After shelling out $600 for a system that has been used mainly as a Blu-Ray player and purchased for gaming, I feel my opinion is warranted. I work hard for my money, not to say that no one else does, so I feel that I can say whatever the fuck I want... and its the truth.
