A new video from sexy Japan is doing the rounds, showing off some hot new Final Fantasy XIII footage. It's not very much, but FF fans will lap anything up, so it's no surprise that a number of Japanese blogs are falling over themselves to get this posted. We are not ones to argue against popular activity, so we've joined the throng to bring you the video as well.
I must say, it's looking really, really good. I get very cynical and bored of Final Fantasy XIII, and then I see just how gorgeous it looks in motion and I manage to forget how I've been sick of hearing about the thing. I guess I'm shallow like that. Anyway, the scenes shown in the video look really cool, so check it out!

There are shadows, just that wall of stock text makes it very hard to see them. The lighting at first I thought was off and it subdued the colours. Then I rewatched it and realized the areas they were in made it that way. But 25 seconds of video that is mostly concealed behind a wall of text is not good for forming strong opinions on.
God damn that game looks mind bogglingly good. I hope they release that footage as part of a full length trailer so I don't have to peer around stocks and advertisements.

It will be priced normally in US and other countries. I think that is the standard price for AAAA games in Japan. So no need to worry... yet.
Jesus dude, what crawled up your arse and died? I never said they were bad because they were sequels merely that they WERE all sequels. In fact the inference was that they would all be good. Sheesh.

hope so... thnx for the fast answer... goddamn if it goes up to 110$ in argentina would be around 500$ without taxes, and my salary is around 1500 per month, less japanese, internet, cellphone and dru... miscellaneous expenses... but we only have to wait...

BTW, the standard for "AAAA" games is around 6500~7000 yens, wich is aroun 70~75 bucks, so, i dont think it would be less than 80 with all the help of the valar and even eru himself
