I prefer 1st person stealth. Gives it more urgency (at least to me) because you can't account for inhuman angles.

Thief, the greatest stealth game ever (and one of the best games of all time) was 1st person, and Dishonored has Looking Glass DNA in its blood. Go play some PC stealth games and you will see the light (or the shadows, as it were).

I agree somewhat, but the field-of-view in most FPS games is grossly limited compared to real human eyesight. So it's just bad in the other direction, really. Tbh I loved that they went to 3rd person for stealth in DX:HR, made it much more playable imo.

I loved thief, but this is giving me far more Bioshock vibes than thief. Also, my favorite part of Thief 3 was the ability to switch back and forth to third person view.
Damn this game looks good. A Steam purchase methinks, as I still don't trust Bethesda to do a PS3 port without screwing it up.

Metal Gear Solid, Deus Ex Human Revolution, Hitman, Tenchu, Shinobido are some of the best Stealth games ever!!!!!
