I'm amazed at how well the MP for this game turned out, so I'm actually looking forward to this. Hopefully I can get the Geth Infiltrator and slap my plasma shotgun on to try and troll whoever I'm teamed up with by pretending I'm a Hunter.
I didn't like the multiplayer that much because I always felt so useless in it. There's these guys running around, yelling and slamming enemies and wracking up triple my score while I'm hunkered down behind some cover shooting enemies like an adult and wonder where any sense of balance is.

I was a soldier, and I played on Bronze and Silver mostly. I found that anyone I played with was utterly outclassed on Gold maps because no one used any teamwork, and it was frustrating to me to spend five minutes finding a full team and then ten minutes getting up to level three on gold, getting wrecking, and having nothing to show for it. This was on PC by the way.

The game is a lot more fun when playing with friends or at least people that can talk back. It's usually extremely bland and boring with randoms. Ever considered teaming up with some Destructoid members? I'm sure you can find at least someone who would be willing to hop on with you in the forums.

@The Pat Man: This is an excellent point, and in truth I always try to make it a point to play with friends in multiplayer experiences like this.
Part of the reason I probably didn't like it that much is I was making myself play in order to grind out the galactic readiness. I was pretty excited when I found out about the iPhone app so I could stop forcing myself to play the multiplayer.

A soldier staying behind cover in bronze/silver? That's weak man. Real weak. Lol just messing with you. I usually stayed at a general distance, but I played as an infiltrator while they pranced around dying constantly I just picked everything off and still had the most amount of points each match.

I thoroughly enjoy the MP part of ME3 "just for the fun of it." Don't act so shocked. And, less snark, please.
John Johnson: Yeah soldier is not very fun in the multiplayer, I've found. The upshot is it forced me to try other classes and it turned out I loved them.
I am personally loving the multiplayer and really excited about the new content. My only beef is that from the announcement of multiplayer with turian characters I have been itching to play as a turian. I have yet to unlock one! Or a krogan for that matter. So I'm not holding out much hope I'll unlock any of the new fun sounding alien/geth characters.

I thought I was going to utterly hate it. But it turns out that the folks at Bioware, which ever folks those were, did all the right things and I enjoy it with a few friends of mine. And now, I'm just starting to get into Silver ranking. Stuff's fun, but tough.
What's with Dtoid's tone in ME3 articles? When they announced the DLC the article basically complained that you still had to unlock the items - as if that were somehow special to the DLC and not EVERY ITEM in the game.
"At least this DLC is free." - I've never seen someone be so bitter and acerbic over FREE DLC. Normally it's an announcement/notice/whatever and that's it, why the negative commentary over something that is nothing but positive ?

I enjoy it! Bouncing back and forth between it and SFxT. I can't wait to get my hands on that krogan vangaurd!
Well I just picked this game up 3 days and am loving it. Taking my time in sp and have dabbled in mp. The mp is solid and a good time, so I look forward to this. Especially since I just stopped sp after something made me tear up (tuchanka).
I love the online as it is always a coop effort. The way to rack up kills is to get rare guns in Spectre packs
Wow. Way to drop the ball Victoria Medina. This is your "4/10" it seems. I've enjoyed the multiplayer so much, I haven't even bothered to beat the singleplayer story. I've been with the series since Mass Effect 1 and I've now lost any interest in the series and have zero cares for finishing the story. Given all the shit storm from complainers, like YOU, Victoria Medina, I hereby dub you;

@molamolacolacake: Yeah, it can take a long ass time to unlock all the races and classes. I think I finally got my Asari Adept at N7 rank 160 or so. It's helpful to play at least Silver, and only buy Spectre packs. It's just so random; you have to keep at it.

If there are Dtoiders who play the MP regulary (I put minimum 2 hours in a night after I get off work regularly), I'd love to get some Xbox360 gamertags. Randos are HORRIBLE. I played with a guy called "A Sub Par Gamer" and he had an N7 level of 457 or something assuming he would know basics like "stand in the hack" and "kill targets in 'ELIMINATE TARGETS' rounds." Alas it seems that even with the amount of time it took him to get that far, he still was just a "I'm gonna shoot 'dem 'cuz this is dah HALOZZZZ."
Seriously Dtoid, help me and my couple of friends fill out my Silvers. I'd really like to get the money to get the weapons I know we'll need for some Golds at some point.

The MP portion of the demo was actually what sold me on the game. It may sound odd, but I find it to be incredibly addicting.
