Planetary Annihlation

Have some early Planetary Annihilation gameplay footage

10:00 AM on 04.20.2013

Total Annihilation lives on in our minds even if we don't have many new entries in the genre to capture that certain essence of strategy gaming. Thankfully, we do have Uber Entertainment and its Kickstarter-funded, appropriately-titled Planetary Annihilation to help ease the pain. This video represents a special milestone for the project: a cohesive, if still early look at gameplay.

The promise of what's yet to come (glorious battles, namely) has me excited more than the tech emphasized here. Half of the reason I wanted to cover the footage was so that, months and even years from now with respect to post-release updates, I'll be able to look back and see how far the game has come. These things matter to me for reasons beyond my comprehension.
