Round two of the Testament of Sherlock Holmesscreenshots are in and the game still looks good. The Testament finds the detective unable to solve a crime that paints him as the main suspect. As he begins to look more guilty he is forced to go on the lam while he tries to prove his innocence.
I haven't played any of the Sherlock Holmes games, but Holmes is probably one of my favorite book series of all time. If done right these games could be great. Sadly I've seen some pretty terrible writing for the ace detective, and it's no surprise. Writing a good mystery is hard, writing a good mystery about one of the most celebrated sleuths ever is much harder. At least the screenshots look cool. Look for the new Sherlock Holmes adventure later this year on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
