SEGA has released a new trailer for Aliens: Colonial Marines. It's exclusive to IGN, but you can view their Youtube version of the video just above.
There's no gameplay footage, which I'd really like more of at this stage, but the trailer is nonetheless very cool. The Xenomorph fanboy in me loves the way it's been set up, so I can't complain too much.
Still, next time let's see more of the game in action. I'm desperate to see how it's looking now.

Moon was such a good movie... I never thought to pair the music from it with something like this. It works incredibly well! although I would like to see gameplay trailers I can't help but get... giddy watching this. Well played Gearbox, well played.
They showed an exclusive sizzle real up at their pax press conference. I have to say, gameplay looks impressive. I'm surprised they haven't put that footage up yet though.
Hooray Gearbox! I'm mostly excited about 'Borderlands 2' still, but I remember reading about this title in a GameInformer from a million years ago, and this is the kind of game that'll shine from a dev that groks guns and videogame combat. Definitely looking forward to it!
Te real question is how did the aliens set up a hive on a marine ship! As you looke at the backgrounds, the weapons lockers, corridors, are from the ship interior. Even in the queen shop you can see the nose of a drop ship, which means hanger bay. I really want this game to come out. Hopefully some new plastic stuff and comics to go with it as well.
This, Mass Effect 3 and Borderlands 2 are my most anticipated games this year. Probably Darksiders 2 as well, loving the first one, but I'm most excited about Co-op Aliens.
It's now wonder they chose to delay after what I witnessed in the 11 minute gameplay trailer. At least AVP 2010 got the aliens right, with splash back from close encounters and getting burnt from walking over bodys. All the aliens movements in the video look scripted to high heaven and with no consequence for engaging at close quarters it seems that Pitchford was more interested in ramming references to Alines down the players throat than actually getting the important stuff right.
Actually I just saw it last night as one of the ads on 360 Dashboard, so idk how exclusive that is. And it was this whole thing exactly.
It's nice, but its basically the Gears of War 3 Campaign set to the tune of the Alien franchise. Nothing exactly wrong with it, but its a bit played now. Actually, the marketing leg of either Sony and/or Gearbox will probably figure out that the success of Gears 3 didn't come from this campaign, should this game not do well.
But at least people will know about it, since they're starting to advertise about 9 months early.

Amen.
Also I hope it's being made by "Borderlands Gearbox" and not "Duke Nukem Gearbox". :P
@Toasted: They did. The gameplay clip has been doing the rounds since late last year. You can even download it on Live/PSN.
This looks like what the sequel to Aliens should have been.
Sold.
