Have a teaser trailer for 'music exploration' game Fract

9:00 PM on 04.17.2013

Here's a snazzy-looking trailer for the indie game Fract, described by its creators as "musical exploration" game which is currently on Steam's Greenlight service. It's got some of my favorite things in it: abstract visuals, neon, and synthesizers. Lots 'n' lots of synthesizers.

The trailer shows an in-game music creation hub called The Studio which seems to have a fully fledged snyth module and other music creation tools. It looks and sounds great and it's interesting to note the top comment on the video asked for Oculus Rift support. I'll second that motion.

PS Vita rhythm game IA/VT Colorful sure looks like an acid trip

Hatsune Miku may be the queen of digital songstresses, but she's by no means the only act in town. Many are looking to join the party, like IA/VT Colorful, a rhythm game starring vocaloid idol IA. The musical title features 60 different tracks to get players bumping and grinding when the game arrives in Japan on July 31. Marvelous AQL has yet to announce a western release.more
