Yep, still looks amazing
We've said it plenty of times but Ubisoft's upcoming Child of Light looks wonderful; it's got a wonderfully lush, hand-drawn quality that's not too dissimilar from the recent Rayman games. As we find out in the video above, both games are using the UbiArt framework which has allowed concept artists to pretty much directly put their art into the game.
It's interesting to hear the illustrators that have been a big influence on Child of Light; I have to be honest, I'd never heard of John Bauer or Arthur Rackham but it's really refreshing to see something different be a creative spark for a game. I also had forgotten that Child of Light was out at the end of April which gives me plenty of time to get a co-op partner organized. Setup email comments
