Harvest Moon comes to the iPhone with Frantic Farming
Natsume have apparently decided to join the iPhone gold rush by announcing their first iPhone game, Harvest Moon: Frantic Farming. The game boasts both a Mission and Score Attack mode and appears to challenge the player to create chains of veggies to score combo for points. It looks simple but cute, and I've always been a fan of the Harvest Moon universe, so I can see myself picking this one up for my time wasting needs. If you don't have an iPhone, you can also check this game out for Nintendo DS when it comes out August 25th, which features multiplayer options as well. The story is set in the same world Island of Happiness took place in, so if you've played that installment you're sure to recognize some things for this one. I wonder if I should hold out and get the DS one instead? Be sure to check out the video of the iPhone version after the jump. Did you know? Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)Uhh, it reminds me too much of Puzzle de Harvest Moon, which was extremely disappointing. It's the only game I've ever purchased new and then sent off on Goozex. Eh not really one into puzzle games. I loved Harvest Moon 64. If they would ever re-release HM64 with some added content, on like XBLA or something, it'd be an INSTANT purchase. I really miss the old Harvest Moon 64..I have it around my house somewhere and want to play it but when are they going to make another regular Harvest Moon again? I want a Harvest Moon for the PS3, it dosen't have to be exclusive but come on, one pleaaaaase tide me over til next generation (which I don't believe will be coming anytime in the next 15 years). With iPhone getting more and more real games and DSI doing everything a modern cellie phone does aside from working as a telephone I have to wonder if there is any future for handhelds meant strictly and solely for gaming. There's something about the Harvest Moon logo that I've always liked. I don't know why, but it just makes me happy to see it. I'm not even a massive fan of the games -- I've only played one or two.
And I'm sure somewhere in here there's a joke about me liking wood. I got a harvest moon overdose early on the year (was playing rune factory, island of happiness and tree of tranquility) and I haven't played any HM things since. This looks a bit interesting, if only cause i recognize the characters and the chickens running look funny. 8:00 AM on 06.06.2013 LEGO Marvel Super Heroes is a ton of funI am so jealous of kids growing up this day and age.
