"Believe me, we're looking at the iPhone," Harmonix CEO Alex Rigopulos tells Ars Technica in an interview.
"If we take a stop on that platform, we want to do it right, so we're thinking about the specific attributes of the iPhone so we can make it the right step where we can make the product that's the right product for that platform."
As to what they'll do for the platform, that's still up in the air. It seems that the old iPod game Phase is due for a port, but Harmonix hopes to do something bigger.
"I'm wondering if there isn't something that's more ambitious that we could do as well. I don't think we have any specific plans there yet, but needless to say, we're looking at it."

Oh, I completely agree. Frequency was original for it's time, and we're now with the 4th iteration of Guitar Hero, it's just god damned boring.
Amplitude had some great mainstream hits with awesome underground techno. Damn that game was good.
Amen.
Also, if they would make Frequency/Amplitude for the iPhone I think I could die happy. It's such a great game, and I think it would work quite well on the iPhone.
Here's to hoping that they either put Frequency on there, or come up with something just as good.
