Destructoid is gaming news, community, videos, and sometimes love. Take the tour or jump in with Facebook:

On this glorious day known as Day of the Ninja, Team Ninja unleashed this very Ninjatastic kill montage from Ninja Gaiden II. Ryu Hayabusa makes easy work of his enemies with his assortment of badass weapons. We also have some very pretty screens that oddly lack any blood. Though there is plenty of blood squirting out of Ryu's enemies in the above video.

I really don't like the placement of the lifebar. It doesn't look like it will get in the way of the gameplay, but it just looks ugly. Also, all that blood has got me thirsty for some Pomegranate juice.

That looks so bloody amazing. Better than God of War? I think the potential is there.

Nice to see NG's smooth as silk battle system still intact :)

And they didn't even show the quickchange weapon system they wanted to put in(like in DMC3).

I cannot for for this damn game, I want to use those melee weapons already.

Holy crap yes! Dual swords and Tiger Claws?!?! That is exactly what was missing from NG! I liked the dynamic camera as well, made the hits more pronounced.

I'm positive I posted a comment in here earlier about the massive amount of decapitations. It has disappeared. Better call Scooby and the gang, we've got a mystery.

This game is set in what period? Check background for a pre-global warming Mt. Fuji.
