And to think that the legendary game creator who helped bring back the videogame industry and created two of the most widely known, longest living franchises in the gaming industry doesn't have a children to pass his knowledge to... Still, happy birthday to Miyamoto! I hope Nintendo stays for another 20+ years so that Miyamoto can keep on making fantastic Mario, Zelda games, and create another Nintendo classic.
The world would definitely be a much less interesting place without the creations Miyamoto brought us over the years.

Underneath every tree in the world, according to 11 year old me, there is potentially a staircase leading to a cavern that holds a dog-faced warrior, willing to trade with me for arrows or gems. Behind every wall, if I have a bomb or two, is an old man prepared to hand me the sword that will shape my destiny. In the clouds hide indescribable riches, and the stars that may make me invincible, if I am brave enough to climb to them.

Once I found out that Miyamoto and I have the same birthday, I always felt eclipsed. It's alright though, Happy Birthday to him, and may he have many more (and in the meantime continue to make some sweet games)!
