Hand painted Triforce Wii looks way cooler than yours

Hand painted Triforce Wii looks way cooler than yours photo

They teased us with Wiis of all shades -- black, blue, and I was pretty drunk, but I think I even saw a red Wii remote somewhere. What do we get? White.

Me, I think it looks pretty good. But Steve over at deadlycomputer.com didn't think so. So while grandparents and fan boys all over the world are crying because they can't get their hands on the system, Steven thought, "You know what? Screw it. I'm going to take mine apart and go all 'Pimp My Wii' on this b***h."

And pimped he did. Nothing completes a bachelor pad like a hand-painted black Wii with a triforce on the side. Hey ladies -- panties off yet?

No, it's OK. Don't bother painting the buttons. It's not like it looks gay with them the normal color.

It's alright, nice. but kinda plain
Unlike most people I lay my Wii down on its side. The flat pristine white surface calls out for me to paint it. I have a pal whos a grafitti artist, i was thinking of letting him go nuts on it. if I ever make it happen i'll be sure to post it here before anywhere else.

I rate this kind of meh. The white buttons don't look great, and neither does the matt finish. I'd varnish that mofo up a notch. Well, I'd actually just leave mine white, but whatever.

Hrn. There are a number of ways I could reply to that. I could say "So do I. Curse this crippling laziness!!1"

I could be defensive and say "I wasn't trying to attack the guy, I was just expressing my opinion. No YOU'RE being an asshole!"

Or be honest and say "I like it just fine white, and am far too paranoid about fucking the thing up."

Or I could just be a pompus lout and list all of the above, posing it as a question. What do you think?

Well, i was gonna paint the buttons, but i decided that it would probably look better with the buttons still white. And, they were small enough that i could touch them up later on with model paint if i wanted.
I did not want to pain the rubber feet mostly cause i didn't know how they would take the spray paint, but also cause i thought it would look better with the white spots on it.

Neat, but I'd also be too paranoid about ruining my system to even think of trying something like that. :)

For me to paint my Wii I'd have to have something that looks really cool in mind, because I really don't want it to get ruined.
