The stars of Halo: ODST might catch some action in Halo: Reach.
In an interview with G4TV, Halo writer and game creative director Joseph Staten teased a possible reappearance of Buck and crew in Halo: Reach, a squad-based shooter set to be unveiled in moving-pictures at the Spike Video Game Awards show in a few days.
“I can’t comment on any future plans for our ODSTs,” Staten said. “But it would be a shame if we made a game about the planet Reach -- a place where Buck, the ODSTs squad leader was known to be -- and not have him appear in some way, shape, or form.”
If you squint real hard at the little people in the Reach promotional ad that shipped with copies of Halo: ODST, you can see an ODST in the middle of the image. Also, twinkles and lights -- but that was shortly before we lost conciousness.

I don't care one way or the other about Final Fantasy. It and Tetris still exist because people still like playing those kinds of games. Just like Halo still exists because it still has fans.

Final Fantasy has had over 15 games already. Shut YOUR whore mouth.
And I wouldn't mind them ODST characters. They were a refreshing change of pace compared to the Master Chief. If Reach is anything like ODST, then it'll be the best Halo game since maybe the first one. ODST was better than Halo 2 & 3.
There are other Spartans that could be fleshed out. Or ODSTs. Or Grunts. What I wouldn't give to play as a freaking triangle.
Relax man, that was obviously a joke. I love FF, but I don't obsess over making sure that everyone loves/hates exactly the same things that I do. Those kinds of people really annoy me, actually.

@KIHP: There were no Spartan IIIs on Reach. I doubt there were Spartan 1 either
Well it's understandable why no one is tired of final fantasy... the games are so vastly different from eachother that you can hardly say they are the same IP; characters, universe, time period, story, combat system, level up system, just about EVERYTHING gets a make over... seriously, change the name of any of the main FF games and you might not realize you are playing an FF game (you might recognize certain names, but even then they still take the time to remodel and change their bodies).
