I would never spend 150 bucks on something like this but I have to say the action figures looks pretty kickass
So if you buy the Legendary edition it's pretty much $80 for the game and then $70 for a statue?

As a big fan of Halo fiction (the books, mainly), I would love to have those statues. However, after preordering a year in advance and spending $125 on the Halo 3 Legendary, only to see it sold for $40-$60 a year later, no way in hell am I biting again. The only limited edition that's been truly limited in recent memory is Demon's Souls. I ordered a snare drum this week that's a limited run of 120, that's limited, this is just day one rape. No.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. It's better than the cat helmet, however, the game itself will be on the same caliber as every other Halo game in the franchise. Safe and the same.
Figures are pretty cool, but ehhhhhh not worth $150. I might pick up the $80 version if it comes with some cool shit but I dunno. Do want art book...
I might wait six months to see if they release an edition with fully operational Spartan armour, just to be sure.
The flaming helmet is pretty gnarly (wasn't that the helmet Bungie employees used in Halo 3?), but I don't allow myself to buy anything other than the standard edition these days.
Love how in Sweden we pay 600 Sek for the normal edition which amounts to 83 USD. No wonder why piracy is so big in Sweden...
I really don't care about toys and I'm far too cool to have gaming crap strewed across my room. I'll pass on this and settle for the standard.

Full disclosure: This collection of Girl Repellent tugs at my inner nerd heartstrings... The statue looks admittedly cool and all the little in-game and physical extras might as well be crack... But since I'm no longer a student and am approaching 30, does anyone in my situation need this stuff?

I'm planing on buying it through EBGames (Gamestop) when it becomes available here in Canada, but I'll probably just end up selling the statue thingy because I simply don't give a shit about it, I just want the ingame stuff.
I'd rather spend some time getting lap dances for that kind of cash. At least I know it's going to a nice girls education.

We were told to "discard" the helmets in all remaining copies of the legendary edition of Halo 3. They were thrown away. Pretty awesome.

look, Bungie said they talked with Microsoft and made sure that they'll be limited supplies (its gonna be on shelfs for about a few weeks at most) because most of the people who are getting it pre-orderd it, and how is a Flaming head, a 10lbs statue that was hand scupted and a 60.00$ game going to be worth 60.00$? They'd have to give two of the main things to you for free, go to Bungie.net get more educated about it, it won't be out NEAR as long as Haol 3 Legendary.
