If you feel like you haven't had enough time with the Halo: Reach beta yet, you have a little bit more time to kill one another before having to go back to one of your other, lesser Halo games.
Speaking to Joystiq, Bungie's Brian Jarrard has nailed down the exact date and time that the beta will be shut down. That would be Thursday, May 20th at 10am PDT. The beta was originally expected to conclude today.
No explanation as to why but, really, are you going to look this gift horse in the mouth? If so, you'd better do it quickly before you run out of Reach time.
Halo: Reach beta extended to Thursday, May 20 [Joystiq]

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
I'm no longer amused by charging at another dude to see who can erode the other guy's shield faster so you can melee him or switch weps to finish him off.
The Halo multiplayer experience has just gotten stale. I think there was so much opportunity here to make a Halo-like Tribes multiplayer experience, but as it stands, Reach just feels clunky and old.
I had fun with the beta, and I'm looking forward to the full game.
