Bungie is gearing up the promotion for Halo 3: ODST, and it's actually looking really, really nice. Taking a step away from Master Chief to focus on this "Orbital Drop Shock Trooper" fellow makes things feel a little fresher, even though he basically looks like Master Chief anyway.
We have a hype-flavored trailer for you and a bunch of sexy screenshots. Considering the game isn't running in HD, it's quite an achievement to get such saucy looking graphics from the engine. Looks like Halo fans are in for a treat, and as someone who isn't a big follower of the franchise, I must confess that I'm tempted to pick it up myself.

Meet the rest of the team
can any one say "Ghost Recon"; looks like there tacking the tactical team gameplay like alot of the rainbow games are but hey! theres an actual story now and not some mute one man army who dosnt need a drop-cause his spartan power Armour can survive planetary entry =_=
It's certainly generating some hype and in my opinion Bungie doesn't often let gamers down. For all the flak Halo 3 gets, I really, really enjoyed it and thought that despite not being the most innovative game ever (it's not really innovative at all) it's extremely well executed. I loved the gameplay, I loved the story, and I really, REALLY loved the score. If ODST is anything like Halo 3 in terms of execution, it'll be a great game.
@FinnE i agree while it wasnt the most revoloutionary game it was well excecuted and the score was beatiful , from what ive seen this looks to be better than 3 :)
I'm huge Bungie fan, but I've gotta say, I think Bungie found this horse named Halo, and they started beating it, and now the horse is dead, but they're still standing around the damn horse, being the shit out of its pulp skin and powder bones, laughing, hearing the coin sound effect from Mario play each time a club lands.

Do you guys see all the POP-In from :25-:28...
No wonder they could not achieve HD Quality.
You probably haven't been following the game, but that's not pop-in. It's the visor's low-light vision mode scanning the environment.
I'm frothing at the mouth.
