Halo 3: ODST getting an Xbox 360 bundle photo

It's tempting to label this with a Captain Obvious tag since it's a major Microsoft first party game, and major Microsoft first party games get Xbox 360 bundles. If you love Halo and for some weird f*cking reason don't have an Xbox 360 yet, then you'll want to drop some notes for the Halo 3: ODST console bundle.

The package comes with an Xbox 360 Elite, a controller (not an ODST controller for some stupid reason), a copy of Halo 3, a copy of Halo 3: ODST (obviously) and access to the Halo: Reach beta. It's due later this month, although it's only been confirmed for Europe so far. I'd say a North American release is guaranteed.

So, a Halo 3: ODST bundle is happening. Hooray for that.

I got a question if anyone can help...

I have the launch Xbox 360 and I was gonna pick up the Elite when it came out a while back but the specs didnt blow me away enough to fork over the doe.

So, Is it worth it to pick up this new (price dropped new) xbox or should I stick with mine and buy a bigger hard drive?

Also, Does anyone know if they are going to drop a NEW xbox 360 that is faster or has built in wireless, etc?

Thanks for any responses... {Really hoping they release a newer version like apple did iphone 3G vs iphone 3GS (faster, more memory,etc.)}

Meh, nothing special about it unless it's cheap then, other than a fancy cardboard box.

this is weird the link to the site shows that the ODST 360 will be 280 euros wheras the modern war fare 2 360 according to eurogamer will be 270 euros im an major ODST fan but that still dont make any sense

...what?

The built-in wireless is a possibility, but I don't see why they would when you're force to pay 50-70 bucks if you want a wireless connection.

If its cheap enough, it just might convince me to buy an Xbox, that is if its still around at Xmas.

I don't think they'll release "new" 360 because all of the games were built to run on a very specific amount of memory/processing. That's why games now work with old Xboxes and games from 2006 work now.

WELL egg on my face there... still odd that both big shooters are getting 360 bundles though isnt it?

What a sexy bundle that is. I already own a 360...and Halo 3...and I've completely paid off the collector's edition of ODST. So I'm slightly jealous! But nifty.

What garbage. This is still a ripoff and not a value. Get the PS3 slim instead.
