If you've never been to a Video Games Live concert, then you've been missing a delightfully nerdy treat. Hearing the music from your games decked out with a full orchestra and lights show is an incredible experience, and I think that everyone should see it at least once.
Even if you have been to a VGL performance before, you'll want to come to the upcoming Los Angeles performance during the E for All Expo, seeing as how the already jam-packed musical line-up has been upgraded quite a bit.
New arrangements from Contra, Chrono Cross, Pac-Man, Tetris, and Final Fantasy would be good enough to pull most fans in, but this show will be the world premiere for new pieces from Conan, BioShock, and a little game called Halo 3.
If this sounds like your thing (and I hope it does), then you'll want to head to the Video Games Live Web page for more details on the concert set for October 19th at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. If you're already sold, get your tickets here.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
I can't go. Oh well, I can play the music in my head :D.
