Halo 2 finally breathes its last on Xbox Live

9:20 AM on 05.11.2010

Since the closure of the original Xbox Live, one game was kept on life support by loyal gamers around the world. That game was Halo 2, an Xbox Live staple that many players couldn't bear to just see die. Well, the swan song has finished, and the game has finally left this world not with a bang, but with a whimper.

Halo 2 was down to only a handful of players of last week, before one man was left. Apache N4Sir now has the honor of being the last human being to play Halo 2 online. Thus ends the legacy, and Bungie's classic shooter may now rest eternally in peace. Amen.
