Halloween sale: Plants vs. Zombies for cheap photo

Zombies and Halloween go hand in hand, don't they? Plants? Well, I don't know where they fit in as far as the holiday goes, but they come with the package, so deal with it.

We've already told you that Plants vs. Zombies is a fantastic game, and now, just in time for Halloween, the game is on sale at a couple of places. The lowest price you're going to find is $6.99, at PCGameStore, where it's now on sale, down from the regular price of $19.99.

If you're more of a Steam person, they also have PvZ for a nice but not as low price of $9.99.

Me? I already got a two copies: one for PC and one for Mac. I'm like a PopCap Zombie. I'll be over here, scaring my dog with my zombie mask.

Anyone know where I can get the cheapest MAC version? Preferably a gift-able one like a Download Code or something I can send.

Thanks!

This site is download-only, right? I can't buy a physical copy from them and have it mailed to me.

If you've not got PvZ yet, you should totally take advantage of this, even if it doesn't seem like your kind of game.

I got mine from Steam when it was first released for $10 (I assume they struck a deal with PopCap to attract more non-mainstream gamers to their service). Had it ever increased to $20, or has it just stayed at the $10 mark?

If it is bought from PCGameStore, does it have any DRMish type bullshit? (anything other than a straight install of game files)

oops, accidently hit the add comment button.

Anyway, this game doesn't look like it would appeal much to me, but I might check it out.
