Rare's Nick Burton spoke to VideoGamer last week at the Develop Conference about what's next for the company, and although no new games were revealed, he says that we'll be hearing more "soon enough."
"There's a couple of things on the roster that are going to be pretty cool as well. Obviously you do the math. Look at the size and how big the Banjo team currently needs to be, how big our shared technology group and asset group are. Look at the number of games and how they're staggered and how many teams we have. There's about half the studio missing from the release schedule at the moment."
When questioned about Kameo 2, Nick responded that while he isn't working on it, that doesn't necessarily mean someone else isn't.
What else could Rare be working on then? More Conker, Killer Instinct, Perfect Dark, and Battletoads would be just peachy if you ask me. There's no telling what's in store for us, but at least the wait won't be too long.

Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied:

I know you've been trying to open your catalog with titles like Kameo and Viva Pinata and whatever-the-hell-else you think is going to be a hit but clearly has no market, but in doing so you have forgotten your roots.
The company that made Kameo ain't the company that made Goldeneye. Hell, the company that made Perfect Dark:Zero ain't the company that made Perfect Dark.
Come home, Rare. Give us what we want. It's really very simple.

And the guy in the picture is Greg, the grim reaper from Conker´s Bad Fur Day.
I'd also just rather see more Banjo. I love the other two ideas they had for BK3 before Nuts and Bolts (though I love Nuts as well as Bolts), which were a remake of the original with a twist and Grunty vs. Banjo for the entire game.
Or, I dunno, something original and fresh. That'd be badass too. If like, every game company did that.
Or something new maybe

While KI was sick, KI2 wasn't the best. I do hope that Rare go back to the serious looking KI style for KI3 if that is their project they are finally going to complete.
A new Conker game would also be cool but I want KI3 before anything else by Rare.
Remember when you first booted up Conker's Bad Fur Day or Banjo kazooie?
