Half Minute Hero director Kotaro Yoshida has returned with a new deconstruction of the Japanese role-playing game called 100-Turn Hero.
Like Yoshida's previous work, 100-Turn Hero sports exaggerated pixel art and limits on how much players can do within the game's various stages. However, rather than imposing time constraints, it sounds like players will need to defeat their foes in 100 turns or less. I can dig it. Hopefully this one makes it over to western shores.
100-Turn Hero will release in Japan on January 17, 2014 for 100 yen on iOS.
