Half-Minute Hero coming to Steam on September 27

Remember yesterday's tease? Well, we were spot-on: Half-Minute Hero is officially coming to Steam later this month.

The game started out as a PSP title, then moved to Xbox Live Arcade as Half-Minute Hero Super Mega Neo Climax. That version has been mixed with the PSP version to turn into this new Steam version, adding together all the features of both. The new name? Half-Minute Hero: Super Mega Neo Climax Ultimate Boy. It will be available on September 27.

Marvelous is holding a game giveaway on launch day that ties in with the game's 30-second theme. For exactly 30 seconds, starting at 10 a.m. Pacific, they will give away codes for free downloads on both their webpage (halfminutehero.com) and their twitter feed (@HalfMinuteHero). This will go down as the shortest game promotion ever.
