So many Persona 3 and 4 stuff. I played both of the games and I admit that they are very good, but when can Persona 1 and 2 have as much attention as well?

Of all the response they could have gave you, they gave you THE BEST ONE.

Atlus is really milking this set of games for all they are worth. Probably a bit too much at this point.

Persona 1&2 can have more attention the minute they start having anything good about them. :D

@solar - Persona... Just wasn't that good. Very dated and the story not all that interesting. Persona 2 was much better and could get and adaptation some day, but the, there's like two dimensions to cover there.

I fail to see the problem people have with the series celebrating it's success though. TONS of people passed on P3 and P4 in the west because they "moved on to next gen" at the time and missed out on two great JRPGs as a result.

You know the sort of JRPGs this generation has been lacking.

You might be tired of P4 but it's only because you want a game that's neither been announced or confirmed for console. Persona 5 does not exist until Atlus has something to show.

And there are games I'd rather have than Persona 5 anyway. Let a good series rest and other people see why it's cool rather than sequelize the shit out of it like Final Fantasy or the Tales series.

More hyped for SMT IV, personally.

persona 1 & 2 doesnt have the same weeaboo appeal, but are better games overall imho. persona 3 would work better as an anime adaptation, I believe.

If it's anything like the Persona 4 anime, I'm all in. The anime was better than the game, and the game was awesome.

I'm really just waiting for the utters to dry up so that Atlus can make something that isn't Persona. There's been a Persona game every year since P3 was their first game to break three copies sold.

Ok, I went to Wikipedia to read about the plot of these games and I think my brain is suffering some kind of seizure...I can't make sense of that

@Phoenix Gamma: While there's probably been a Persona-related release every year since, most of them are just ports or updates of existing titles. We've only had one additional new title since then, in the form of Persona 4.

So that's two new titles, one reissue of 3 with additional content, ports of the first couple games to the PSP, a fighting game, and another port to the Vita...over the course of 5 years. That doesn't seem ridiculous at all. We still haven't had a true Persona game for an HD console. (Or a Shin Megami Tensei, for that matter.)

Although, to be fair, I'm a rabid Persona fanboy, so I'm somewhat biased.
