Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock's February Mega Pack DLC

1:00 AM on 02.09.2011

Activision has released a new trailer highlighting the songs currently available in the February Mega Pack DLC for Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock. The pack includes tracks from Marilyn Manson, Children of Bodom, Black Label Society and Firewind. You can download the pack right now for PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii.

I don't know if I would cough up for this entire package. Hell, I've barely heard of half of these bands.  But the Marilyn Manson content is pretty compelling. I think that "Coma White" and the album it acts as the concluding track, Mechanical Animals, represents the peak of Manson's work artistically (which may not be saying a whole lot, but it's a fine rock album) and the rest of the tracks from him are solid tunes as well.

Making multiplayer music in Fantasia: Music Evolved

Harmonix revealed a multiplayer mode for Fantasia: Music Evolved at GDC last week alongside some new songs and levels. I jumped in front of a Kinect sensor to try out the new mode, and it wasn't long before I was flapping my arms to the beat.  Can't you hear that boom, badoom, boom, boom, badoom, boom, bass?    more
