We all know which Guitar Hero and Guitar Hero II songs will appear in the upcoming full-band "best of," Guitar Hero Smash Hits. To say it looks good is an understatement.
Now, the tracks that will appear from Guitar Hero III have been revealed, and its the smallest selection so far. They are.:
- Pat Benatar - "Hit Me With Your Best Shot"
- Living Colour - "Cult Of Personality"
- Heart - "Barracuda"
- Kiss - "Rock And Roll All Nite"
- AFI - "Miss Murder"
- DragonForce - "Through The Fire And Flames"
- Priestess - "Lay Down"
- Slayer - "Raining Blood"
Yes, you'll now have to master DragonForce on all instruments. But "Raining Blood" on Expert+ drums should be a good time. Why? Because drummer Dave Lombardo is the effin' man, that's why. Hit the jump for a video of

pretty much the only reason why I bought guitar hero 3 in the first place, still hoping to get it as rockband dlc
Still holding out hope that they include a "best of bonus tracks" list. In a lot of cases they were more enjoyable than the main set list.
I'm not quite sure what being able to identify a semi-obscure fantasy novel based on its artwork alone says about me.
Or just leave the 'Intro' out since it's synth/keys and not guitar.

Also, the vocalists are supposed to supposed to sing along with the guitar in a loud, annoying falsetto. The instruction manual even says so.
Well, at least they got one thing right!
