Destructoid is gaming news, community, videos, and sometimes love. Take the tour or jump in with Facebook:

Wanna learn how to rock out on your Nintendo DS!? Look no further than the attached Guitar Hero: On Tour instructional video.

Upon watching the clip initially, I didn't know whether to facepalm or to laugh hysterically. As the video progressed, I eventually settled on repeatedly doing both, sometimes even at the same time.

Sure, the video does a good job of explaining exactly how Guitar Hero: On Tour will function, in addition to showing off the game's key features, but it ultimately left me not wanting to see more videos even semi-related to On Tour, much less play the game.

[Thanks, Wheeliedude and Charlie Suh!]

I couldn't make it all the way through the video. It's just so...horrible. That man's moustache offends me, and the kid's DS battery is about to die. Which reminds me that I need to charge mine...

I love how that horrible singer gives us his inspiration for this commercial towards the end of the video: "I'd love so new clothes!" I loled....

I'm very sure this was intentional, and honestly I want this game even more now. It actually looks legitimately fun, and sitting on my daily train ride playing with some ear phones sounds awesome. But I got to press the button because, SOMETIMES YOU CAN'T YELL!

The whole affair was highly reminiscent of early 90s ads for TMNT and Ghostbusters action figures.

This reminds me of those commercials I used to see for kids toys in the mid to late 1980's. They usually happened when I watched saturday morning cartoons.

Also, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle

I lost it at "WIGGLE, WIGGLE, WIGGLE." I really was hoping that the announcer was going to say, "Wiggle it like a motherfucker."

That was funny in a sad, pitiful sort of way.
On a different note they kept the battle mode. Because if there is one thing people loved and wanted more of in GH3 it was the battle mode. I wonder if there songs have imaginary notes too, that would be great.

Reinforces my position that everybody who spends over 100 bucks on plastic instruments its a retarded nerd: buy ACTUAL instruments and learn to play actual guitar.

The reason why nobody wants to do it its cause you all know you are just drones and tools with 0 creativity and wouldn't be able to compose a single riff to save your lives.

So now its portable and more stupid....

*sigh*
