Well OK then. That just happened. The problem here is not the quality of the songs -- that's all subjective, and personal preference. The issue I see is the completely and utter lack of "the rock." Outside of a few tracks like Twisted Sister or KISS, a lot of this seems like the "rock" you hear on most top 40 stations (and I listen to them in my car, so I know, God damn it).
There's no way of knowing if this list is complete (15 songs does seem kind of short), so it's entirely possible Guitar Hero: On Tour will retain the rock spirit when it ships this June.

Seriously, Daughtry? Isn't he that clown from American Idol? I should never have to ask that question when it comes to Guitar Hero...you killed the series.

No sarcasm in the world can describe my disappointment in this set list.
Hell, I'd actually rather see some of those songs in Rock Band, since it would justify the otherwise simple guitar notecharts.
But the setlist doesn't surprise me that much. The DS is directed to a different crowd than the console GHs, so I guess the top40 setlist is to appeal to a more mainstream crowd? Oh well.
Let's take the average DS user and ignore their potential music tastes and instead stuff in metal tunes and obscure local bands in a game that regular guitar hero players will pass on anyway because it's only 4 buttons.
