I am either A) playing Miss Murder (by AFI) on mute, or
B) ignoring this game.
In any case, this one will probably be a rental I play with my Rock Band Strat.
I'm that old school.
Atm Rock Band is looking for and more likely to win my moneys.
and the chili peppers? I just vomited in my mouth.
also, olde
You get your game news from Wikipedia?
HARDCORE.
Rock Band anyone?
lol.
Also sorry for that double post I thought my internet messed up.
I've gotta say that with every Rock Band announcement I get more excited and with every GHIII announcement I care less and less.
GHIII still has way too many cover songs and while they have some decent artists, they get lesser/unknown songs from them. Rock Band's tracklist blows away GHIII's and with full albums coming there's just no comparison.
As far as I'm concerned Rock Band IS Guitar Hero III and this Legends of Rock game is a copycat.
Also, Dragonforce is the hardest metal known to man.
I'll be playing BOTH Rock Band AND GH3, thank you.
And I've been wanting La Grange since day one. Though that "as performed by" in the description has me worried. Who the hell ELSE can sound even REMOTELY like ZZ Top on that song?
Mississippi Queen seems more like a Rock Band track. You can't cure a fever for more cowbell when there's no cowbell.
That song is perfect for GH -- the slow intro, then it bursts into that awesome guitar riff that will eat your face off and then vomit it up all over your mother.
Awesome choice. "Paranoid" is also in Rock Band. So is that Strokes song, if I'm not mistaken ...
Bah, I'll just hide in my cave until Dance/DJ Hero or 60's Guitar Hero is out.
Guitar Hero + Slayer = WIN!
to be honest, i never expected a Slayer song to appear in GH or RB (no matter how much i think it should be) simply because of their image. i've never been so happy to be proven wrong in my life.
in related news, could you imagine playing the entire Reign in Blood album in Rock Band with 4 people?? that would be F'ing INSANE! =D
In other knews, I need a Rock Band vocalist. Any takers?
I do however agree with Mauer in that KSE and Down need to be on either GH3 or Rock Band.
At least for me, the announced on-disk playlist for GHIII is better than the on-disk playlist for Rock Band. But I think this is a matter of personal opinion.
Also, the latest album is a pile of turd.
I can understand that for some people, Smashing Pumpkins and bands like them defined a generation but if you disappear for 10 years and then release a shocker like the latest album and call it Zeitgeist, i'm not going to go for it.
