Alright, so it takes damn near four minutes to see what's so special about this video, but once the camera pans out, you'll see six friends playing
Guitar Hero III on one guitar. Obviously none of them could beat
Dragonforce's 'Through the Fire and Flames' so instead of giving up, they decided to team up and each take one part of the guitar to beat the song.
Fast forward to about 4:28 to see all the guys laying uncomfortably down on the floor (and to see the jackass camera guy is actually using a digital camera so turning the camera on it's side makes no difference). Once they beat the song, they all jump up, scream for joy and admit that this took them four days to perfect.
I don't know what's worse: the fact that it took six guys to pass one song on expert or that they only got 85 percent.
[Thanks, EternalDarkWing!]

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
...impressive. Or did I mean to say sad?
That's...just fucking classic.
No Ifs, no buts, IMPOSSIBLE WITH ONE MAN - 4 fingers is NOT ENOUGH
this is awesome
The intro is the hardest part. The rest of it you can just flop about and strum and get most of it, thanks to the new hammer ons and pull offs.
I played the song on expert in practice and got 75%, my hand seriously hurt after that. I fail the intro every time
haha somebody has issues.
it's not very fun that way...
Except you made fuckall money....
Congratulations to them for beating a stupidly hard song
...and @ Crazy Munch:
4 fingers is not enough probably...but that is where your second hand comes in handy (pun intended) as my brother suggested. Especially if GH is trying to incorporate all aspects of guitar playing (take note at 0:18).
BTW...if anyone is thinking of hating on me...I suck at GH...I could not beat this song or many others by myself. But I do not thank this six person vs. one song is that impressive. One button = not that hard.
Also, I'm pretty sure that my buddy uses the "8 hours a day, that's like a full time job" line when he discusses his WoW playing.
Damn, dude. A bit excessive with the anger? What's up with you, man? What's wrong with a brodeo? A brofest! A time to hang out with friends and do stupid pointless shit! Why do you hate?
In all seriousness, it's just a couple of dudes having fun. No one on here is making fun of your 400 hour RPG spree or your obsession with any other game.
"GOD! Those guys are having fun playing games TOGETHER? By the gods, that's wrong! The gaming code clearly states that we should remain solitary creatures with the exception of online gaming!"
No need to be so serious, guys. Shit, you know? I still find it funny that frat house dudes are hated by nerds, and they don't even know or care. Oh well. The internet is a small place, I guess.
Nah, nah. No jock related issues, anyway...plenty of other issues...but no jock issues. My best friend was the popular guy that everyone in school loved, so no one messed with me, despite being a nerd.
Probably helped that he played as many games as me. He was just wayyyy better with chicks.
I need to get this game
anyway, i'm gonna go try this on jordan with a bunch of people if i can find people that have a fast enough hand-eye=coordination to play the really fast solo parts in that song. :)
My point is that there are so many people capable of beating this all by themselves that most of my friends can, and considering I only know 5 people(including myself) that own this game I think that the ability to beat this alone cant be uncommon.
