Alright, so it takes damn near four minutes to see what's so special about this video, but once the camera pans out, you'll see six friends playing Guitar Hero III on one guitar. Obviously none of them could beat Dragonforce's 'Through the Fire and Flames' so instead of giving up, they decided to team up and each take one part of the guitar to beat the song.

Fast forward to about 4:28 to see all the guys laying uncomfortably down on the floor (and to see the jackass camera guy is actually using a digital camera so turning the camera on it's side makes no difference). Once they beat the song, they all jump up, scream for joy and admit that this took them four days to perfect.

I don't know what's worse: the fact that it took six guys to pass one song on expert or that they only got 85 percent.

[Thanks, EternalDarkWing!]

This isn't just one song, dude. This is the epic of all songs. I can't even finish the shit on medium.

God damn. I think hell would freeze over before one person got 85% on that song...and for these guys to have actually synchronized it over four days or whatever, that’s unbelievably...

...impressive. Or did I mean to say sad?

The one guy at the very end summed it up nicely, "dick," because they're all a bunch of dicks and they could have spent those "8 hours a day" at "a full-time job" or drinking instead of obsessing over a damn song. For a couple of extreme-hardcore-would-be-looking-jock gamers screaming and jumping for joy as if they won a real sports game, minus the ass smacking, they're a bunch of dicks that like to engage in Sausage Fest induced button mashed video gaming, also cocks.

Five years ago, those jock douchebags were beating up kids that played video games. Now look at what they've become. They're the epitome of gaming nerds.

That's...just fucking classic.

I beat it the other day... :\

The intro is the hardest part. The rest of it you can just flop about and strum and get most of it, thanks to the new hammer ons and pull offs.

Sideways cam bugs the hell out of me.

I played the song on expert in practice and got 75%, my hand seriously hurt after that. I fail the intro every time

Wow, they were really excited about finishing that. Sideways cam wasn't a big deal for me; laptops win.

I used to do that to beat beatmania games. get six people, and each presses a button.

it's not very fun that way...

"4 days for 8 hours each day, thats like a job"

Except you made fuckall money....

Congratulations to them for beating a stupidly hard song

Cereally...if you ONLY had to worry about ONE button...it shouldn't be that hard. The strummer probably has the hardest job...but still nothing that should require FOUR WHOLE DAYS of practice. I'm pretty sure that me (not great at GH) with five other semi-rythmically-inclined blokes could pound that out in a day...

...and @ Crazy Munch:
4 fingers is not enough probably...but that is where your second hand comes in handy (pun intended) as my brother suggested. Especially if GH is trying to incorporate all aspects of guitar playing (take note at 0:18).

BTW...if anyone is thinking of hating on me...I suck at GH...I could not beat this song or many others by myself. But I do not thank this six person vs. one song is that impressive. One button = not that hard.

I only get about 80% on medium, haven't tried hard and only got 1% into expert. My hand literally loses strength about half way through the song then gets a second wind towards the end.

Those guys, should they choose to make another video, just may kill my desire to play games. I can't say "douchebags" with enough intensity to even begin to describe how I felt during the last half minute.

Also, I'm pretty sure that my buddy uses the "8 hours a day, that's like a full time job" line when he discusses his WoW playing.

@ Trowble

Damn, dude. A bit excessive with the anger? What's up with you, man? What's wrong with a brodeo? A brofest! A time to hang out with friends and do stupid pointless shit! Why do you hate?

In all seriousness, it's just a couple of dudes having fun. No one on here is making fun of your 400 hour RPG spree or your obsession with any other game.

"GOD! Those guys are having fun playing games TOGETHER? By the gods, that's wrong! The gaming code clearly states that we should remain solitary creatures with the exception of online gaming!"

No need to be so serious, guys. Shit, you know? I still find it funny that frat house dudes are hated by nerds, and they don't even know or care. Oh well. The internet is a small place, I guess.

Aside from the lawls factor of 6 guys not using a table for the guitar, was it the game or someone grunting everytime a missed note was made?

Nah, nah. No jock related issues, anyway...plenty of other issues...but no jock issues. My best friend was the popular guy that everyone in school loved, so no one messed with me, despite being a nerd.

Probably helped that he played as many games as me. He was just wayyyy better with chicks.

wow i feel sorry for the guy who had to strum... especially if they did it for so long each day without switching off! but yeah... this should have taken them like 10 tries max... all they had to do was memorize the sequence for one of the notes... actually they didn't even need to memorize them...

anyway, i'm gonna go try this on jordan with a bunch of people if i can find people that have a fast enough hand-eye=coordination to play the really fast solo parts in that song. :)

EPIC FAIL... I have multiple friends who do better than that and they play solo.

My point is that there are so many people capable of beating this all by themselves that most of my friends can, and considering I only know 5 people(including myself) that own this game I think that the ability to beat this alone cant be uncommon.
