I'm really glad that your headline isn't an Usher wordplay, because Guitar Hero absolutely does not need Usher.

Protest the Hero?

Guitar Hero wins.

Protest the Hero!? Seriously!? Also Eagles of Death Metal? Thrice?
Goddamnit, am I going to have to buy the new Guitar Hero just so I can buy the DLC for the new Guitar Hero?

Nick, you're missing New Wave by Against Me! in the Knuckle Sandwich pack.

Between the punk pack, EODM, and this Knuckle Sandwich pack, GHWT has had a good DLC month.

I'm Shipping up to Boston! There's a running inside joke regarding this song at my apartment when we throw parties, so this is a must download.

Is that Knuckle Sandwich Track Pack going to be a free set like the occasionally do? I know GH3 had free Dropkick Murphys songs.

The fact that this news post is not about 'I'm Shipping Up To Boston' is a travesty.

travesty.

EODM FTW!

Shame I'm boycotting Activision DLC - fuck it, I might sneak those Eagles of Death metal tracks, they'll never know, they'll still think i hate them, right?

NO! Must. Trade in. Guitar. Hero. World Tour.

First good Guitar Hero DLC in a while. Even so, Rock Band is putting them to shame just by the sheer difference in volume (next week sees 9 new songs for Rock Band vs. 3 for Guitar Hero, and sometimes it's been worse than that.)

This is maybe the first good DLC I've seen for GH:WT, but it just doesn't compare to what RB has been putting out. I want to see some real metal and less whiney prog/emo metalcore like Thrice or PTH.

Thrice and Dropkick Murphys are cool! I think EoDM is pretty shitty though.

Alexisonfire!!!!
Protest the Hero!!!!!
Finally some Canadian love!

Also I'll defin be getting Against Me!, Thrice and maybe Senses Fail

I'm sooo happy Alexisonfire and Protest the Hero are finally being put in a music game. Bloodmeat should prove to be a challenging song too.

Eagles of Death Metal? Pretty fucking sweet man (Anything 'Cept the Truth is a badass track, shit all three of those are), but even still, it's Guitar Hero, an Activision property, and I'm not interested on that reason alone. Activision has lots to do before I purchase another game of theirs again.

I'm not liking the ratio of suck to awesome in these DLC packs.

Thrice only just started playing that song live, it's never been heard outside of shows. So I'm guessing this is a live track being released as DLC? Pretty cool! Thrice is so great.
