With only about a month to go before Guitar Hero 5's September 1 release, Activision has decided to reveal the game's final 15 tracks. Oddly, a number of the tracks had already been revealed during or around E3 (Arctic Monkeys' "Brianstorm" and Stevie Wonders' "Superstition," for example).
But let's act surprised:
- 3 Doors Down - "Kryptonite"
- Arctic Monkeys - "Brianstorm"
- Blink-182 - "The Rock Show"
- Dire Straits - "Sultans Of Swing"
- Jimmy Eat World - "Bleed American"
- Johnny Cash - "Ring Of Fire"

- Queen & David Bowie - "Under Pressure"
- Stevie Wonder - "Superstition"
- The Killers - "All The Pretty Faces"
- The Raconteurs - "Steady As She Goes"
- TV On The Radio - "Wolf Like Me"
For those following along, you might notice that the game features 85 songs, but not 85 individual bands or artists. So what's getting doubled up? Nirvana gets two tracks ("Lithium (Live)," "Smells Like Teen Spirit") and David Bowie appears on two songs (his own "Fame" and Queen's "Under Pressure"). See anything we missed?
The remainder of the set list can be found after the jump.

Other than that, its still typical Activision/Neversoft: songs that are great to listen to, but too many are probably not the best choices for a game, being too easy or boring or just not fitting right.
Still, I find it interesting (and pleasing) that theres a large number of bands who are quite happy to go with either franchise. More fun for everyone.
Why da hell this happens? Cant you make a single music game filled ONLY with good songs from the 70´s, 80´s and 90´s?
Cant you people see that anything recorded after 2001 is just plain trash?

Although that being said, the last GH I owned was 2. Never got into the whole band thing, and won't until they release a Rolling Stones version.
I really hope that's a joke.
Really solid setlist though. Shame that my yearly rhythm game allowance is probably going to go towards the Beatles Rock Band. Also, not towards a company that squeezes out a new Guitar Hero every three months.
queen used it first, then vanilla ice used it without permission and got in trouble.
Terrible choices for some songs. Sweating Bullets? Fuck you
It's a pretty solid setlist, and as much as I hate Activision. I'm picking this up.
