I know Gregor was just joking, but it's worth answering that topic now, because it is a good point.

The best way to address the community blogs posting stories before we do on the front page, is by comparing NeoGAF and Destructoid. If you want news the minute it happens, you can find it on NeoGAF, or Dtoid forums, or any other random forums on the net. But most people don't read those hectic sites because they have to put up with 100s of crappy stories a every hour.

Which is why Dtoid and other larger sites take slightly longer to break news -- either we have to deal with posting 5 stories in the next hour, and have to choose which to cover first -- or we have to do fact checking with older stories and even sometimes the companies themselves, to guarantee we're getting you the best news possible.

So there will definitely be times when the community blogs beat us to a news story, and that's part of the reason why we're giving everyone the chance to blog, because it's definitely something we want you guys to explore. So far things are going great, keep on kicking ass everyone!

Also, community blogs are not even a day old and there is no way right now to piggyback existing posts and link tips to commentaries made later in the day by our editors. We'll need some time to make that work

New HUD? Ick. But I love the note streak counter, and the six separate bulb-looking things for the Star Power meter are intriguing.

Seriously, they should really get someone who can hit all the notes if they’re going to show off footage. I’m bleeding from the ears here, Pacino! And it doesn’t even appear to be on Expert...they’re leaving out the last fingerpicked note in each progression of the intro to “My Name Is Jonas”.
