...wow. I hate to say it but the Mac specifications are way beyond my PC specifications. It'd just be better to use the Windows version if at all possible.

Unfortunately, they're using a compatibility layer (Cider) that wraps the Windows version in Mac-compatible code. It's not a native client and, since you're basically running the game within a virtual machine, the minimum requirements are a lot higher.

@Soulcage Well technically I got it for free during one of those 'get a free thing for signing up for tv/internet plan' type promotions.
But I'm not really sure why buying a gaming platform because you want to play a game, would be ridiculous. I also bought a panini maker because I wanted to make goddamn panini's. That's why we buy things.
