GTA IV DLC to be teased at the SpikeTV Videogame Awards

Grand Theft Auto IV’s exclusive Xbox 360 downloadable content titled The Lost and Damned will be revealed in detail during the Spike TV Videogames Awards. The awards show will be this Sunday at 9:00 PM eastern time. According to the press release, west coast viewers will have to catch the program on a tape delay. This is important, because it prevents people in California from experiencing the wonders of live TV and the possibility of nipple slips.

It’s interesting that Rockstar Games decided to actually show the DLC to fans. Rumors on the Internet have stated that GTA is the “worst gaeme evar” and that it has been sold back to every retailer it was ever purchased from. A user by the name of OldFatCat89 at GameFAQs claims that his dad (who owns GameStop and works at Nintendo) currently has fourteen semis full of used copies of GTA IV.

The exclusive content will be available on February 17. It’s promising a wide array of things, but the most notable are the new storyline, characters, and weapons.
