This is great news and good to see for an industry that too often is lagging in enthusiasm for the next generation and innovation in creativity (ironic, huh? Too many shooters..GRAPHIiXXXX..blahblahblah).
As for Mark Mann's comment, there is an upcoming graduate school of game design opening up at NYU that I'm hoping to apply for when they finally get state board approval. You should check it out.

The lack of western consumer support for the PS Vita is logical. What I do not really get is how gamers like those here in DTOID could not even comment.
It it does not take much to support the Ps Vita! Just keep try and keep it relevant people. It is a handheld, it is not like it is 100% immune from mobile and tab spaces. It is the one big deal for people that really want to game on the go. For crying out loud, the PS Vita is only a couple of weeks away in Japan and a couple of weeks after the New Years, it will be in the US and Europe.
Do not hesitate! Get hyped!

@handhelds4ever not too many people give a shit about the 3DS either. Personally, after the disaster of a PS3 launch, I'm skeptical the Vita will be as good as everyone says. But it sure does SEEM awesome. Fingers crossed.
