Grand Theft Auto V's debut trailer is happening today and we've got the video player cooking it right here. As you can tell from the nifty countdown, the video is not yet ready to go live, but as soon as it does, it'll be viewable immediately on this very page.
The video should answer a lot of the rampant speculation that's occurred since the game's announcement, so we can finally stop getting our inboxes filled with analyst reports and rudderless editorials from around the web.

Also give me a character with more personality than a cardboard cut out.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I remember hearing they intentionally make the driving difficult so that you'll get wanted i.e. Hitting a cop car, pedestrian, ect.
San Andreas is the best, why can't we just all accept that?
The main character will be fat, and joins the mafia so the bullies stop bothering him. The main safehouse of the game will be a Subway franchise owned by the mafia. Blahblahblah the rest is from the movie Goodfellas.

I really was going to say 'hope it's GTA set in the 50s, possibly involving corruption', then realised Rockstar had already published that game this year.
So... here's hoping it's set either in the Model-T era or the distant future.

Also they decided to be controversial again and have included children NPCs and something called an abortion-gun.
I wouldn't mind a return to San Andreas either.
I'm not a big fan of GTA games but if Rockstar puts the level of attention into the story for this one that they did with RDR or LA Noire I might give it a try.
