I'll be honest, for some reason when I watched it the first time, last night, it didn't occur to me that it was Max's voice. I knew it was from Destructoid and that it was fake, but somehow I thought the audio was from actual Kinect commercials (or like an E3 reveal or something) cut up and cleverly edited, like the video was. I dunno, that's just where my mind went first and it stayed there until I rewatched it this morning and went "oh shit, that's Max speaking!"
One of the funny things about the comments is the people who know it's fake, and are just pissed off that you lied and posted a fake trailer. Few people know that in 2007, Rickrolling originated when somebody on 4chan claimed they had a trailer for the GTA4 trailer (I was there, sadly) - this whole Kinect prank reminds me of that to some extent. It's bizarre (to me) that people take such a silly franchise so seriously.
Bravo, this is brilliant! I would commend you for doing a good enough job to convince people it's real, but I'm not sure if it really much of a challenge after all.
I know that it is all a ruse, but part of me wants to believe that this is real. Maybe that's why so many users on Youtube were taken in. Can you really blame them? Well, obviously you can, but can you justify it? That was rhetorical!

Max I totally buy you as the advertising read guy on soma... I won't know if you want to take that as a compliment but I want to hear more. Do ad guy voice and say horrible thing over soothing music please.
