Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas coming to Xbox Originals later this month photo

IGN UK is reporting that Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will be making its way to Xbox Orignals later this month. The download will run you 1200 Microsoft Points, or $14.99 is human-being-bucks.

San Andreas is the largest GTA title to date, and arguably one of the best. Dollar for dollar, there's certainly more to see and do in San Andreas than just about any other videogame. Period.

Is it worth $14.99? Definitely. The game is backwards compatible, and while you may be able to find it cheaper online, GameStop is selling it for $17.99 used. But when you consider the scope of the game -- and how many current-gen titles are dropping this month (Fable 2, Fallout 3, to name two games that start with the letter "F") -- maybe now isn't the best time to re-release this game.

But let's speculate: Does this release hint at soon-to-come Grand Theft Auto IV DLC?

Why? Who didn't buy this already? I can't fathom getting this since it doesn't even come with achievements.

My least favorite GTA, but good news, nonetheless.

I'm playing this on PC right now for the first time (in anticipation of the PC release of GTA IV) and I'm surprised what a great, great game it is. Can't really imagine GTA IV being even better...

It's probably a hint. I mean, San Andreas was definitely not an "Xbox Original", so I think that it hints at San Andreas having something to do with GTA IV.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Well, in any case they should've released this before Saint's Row 2.

Never played this, but if I were to, it wouldn't be through Originals. Plus, I really don't have time for it.
