Grand Theft Auto IV expansion price slashed photo

Before our galaxy formed and the universe as we know it consisted of nothingness, i.e., a few weeks ago in Internet time, it was announced that expansion pack “Lost and the Damned” would go on sale the week of August 24th. It is now that week, so here we go.

Starting around, uh, now, you should be able to download the first -- and currently only available -- downloadable expansion pack for Grand Theft Auto IV at 1,200 Microsoft Points. Major Nelson points out that this is a twenty-five percent savings as the downloadable usually costs 1,600 Microsoft Banana Dollars.

Since this is a Microsoft “Deal of the Week,” the content’s price is slashed for a limited time, as in, only this week. Funny how the name of the deal points out what exactly it details, right? Marketing!

Anyway, give this a spin if you still have the latest GTA. We liked it, at least.

God, I still never finished this. I don't know what happened, but right around the time that I bought it, I lost all interest. Great purchase decision, right?

I want to see more expansions like this. Make one GTA a generation and expand upon it this way. Lost and the Damned had almost as much story as GTA IV proper, without all the fluff.

It's worth the $20 if Shadow Complex is worth $15. At 25% off, it's a bargain.

I'll finally be guying this... But I'm still neck deep in Shadow Complex and just got into the MAG beta, so depending on how much fun I have with that I may not be diving into L&D for a bit.
