Gran Turismo 5 Spec II is a new retail package for Japan that contains Gran Turismo 5 upgraded with the v.2 update, as well as a voucher for the big DLC "Complete Pack" that was recently released. Famitsu says that this new package will be available in Japan on February 2 for 4,980 yen.
This new package takes a bit off the original price and then adds in the most recent DLC for free. Not bad.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
my last game was probably Burnout Revenge PS2
heck i still haven't gotten Burnout Paradise, is it good??
though i just got Wipeout HD with DLC through the Welcome back package and it's silky smooth as hell :P
any racing games that are like Burnout and Wipeout???
i think F-Zero is probably the closest that we can get on a wipeout like(or vice versa)
Split/Second was a a great combat racer
@Topic
I feel this isn't such a great deal actually... Forza 3 ultimate-edition had 6 DLC-packs ( about 60 new cars ) and 2 or 3 new real-world-tracks, while this has 1 new real-world-track ( OK, it's Spa so that kinda beats any other track ) and 15 new cars ( of which 7 are Skylines btw ).
Although I'm barely playing Forza 4 (or anything else) at the moment. Thank you, Skyrim. My life is yours right now.
1. Wow it looks good.
2. It's pretty fun to play
3. Now I'm bored.
While I enjoy they'll now and then, racers don't keep my attention for long..
Split/Second is on sale on Amazon today as a digital download, its also in a Disney interactive 3pack for sale (digital again) with 2 other games for cheaper then all 3 bought separately.
