Damn. How great do these screens of Ferrari and Lamborghini cars look? Eye-searingly good, I'd say.
I'm not sure why there's a focus on exotics in the screens released from Sony of Gran Turismo 5. Other car games focus on that sports car that is just out of reach for most, toying with that feeling that you could at least drive your dream car in a game. A Ferrari? You're never getting one of those. And they're in all car games anyway - big deal.
But these screens look fantastic. Honestly, these screens look better than any time I've seen Gran Turismo 5 in person. I'm not trying to call anyone out, though. I'm just saying that I hope the final game looks this good.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

I can't wait for this game. That is to say, I have to wait and I will, wallet in hand. I was pleased to hear that the damage model was still a work-in-progress. When pre-TGS they said "we could release at any time, the game's essentially done" and then the videos of TGS damage came out....ouch, that looked really embarrassing for Polyphony. Their PR people need to keep their mouths shut and keep releasing screen-shots like these.

i actually was driving next to the red one last week in minneapolis. funny thing people don't realize about minneapolis is that in edina there are prob about 4 lambos, 10 or so farraries and 20+ porsches. even a NSX and few vipers still around too. we just hide em in winter :P
Yes, you are a raging fanboy, and anyone who has played the Forza 3 demo knows the game looks better than those shots. Also, the pics were taken at different speeds, which increased the apparent background texture detail on Forza 2, and washed it out in Forza 3. More notably, they bothered to take shots from different parts of tracks which are in both games, and the origin/age of the shots themselves is in question.
Debunked and needless.
Ok, ok, I like the racing in GT but I can only stand it for so long.
Whoops, wrong thread.
