Gran Turismo 5 is still happening, still looks amazing photo

Set to hit December 2045 on the PS9, Gran Turismo 5 is looking great considering how early it is in the game’s development process. Case in point, the screens below.

Earlier this afternoon, publisher Sony released a few new images of the game featuring, shocker, uber-shiny cars driving fast. There’s no much more to these in-game shots -- the backgrounds are blurred and vehicular opponents are all driving similar, snot-covered vehicles. That said, there’s still no way you can walk away from these screens and not think this is the best looking car game ever made.

Well, unless you have car-o-phobia. Then you’re just weird.

2015. PS5? I think you're forgetting SONY's '10 year life cycle'. Can't wait till 2015 though. GT5 is gonna pwn Forza 3 yeayo.

I'm going to further exaggerate brad's date just in case anyone thinks that's serious. 2015 almost sounds plausible since this game has been under development for what feels like over five years.

I'm waiting pretty hard for Forza 3, but jesus I just came through my pants and on my face...possibly through the ceiling (hopefully it hit my asshole upstairs neighbor in his fucking face).

I'm excited for both games, but heart belongs to Turismo, glad there is space between them.

Ooooh pretty. The reflections on the cars definitely caught my eye first. Those are damn sexy.

Damn this looks good. It had better be though. If Americans can make a better product with Forza 3 in less time, it really has to make you wonder wtf all the Japanese guys are doing in their offices all day.

Day 1 purchase most likely regardless.

I dunno, Forza 3 is pretty damn close. Cheers to two sexy racing games with sexy, shiny cars.

Those cars aren't any shinier than mine. Have you never seen a polished paint job before?

Best looking visuals maybe but I'm willing to bet this sequel will be just as unappealing to me as all the ones that came before it. Simulation racers are boring as hell.
