Awesome I havent moved onto Forza yet actually I will never move on to Forza for me theres room for both.

So, what does this actually do?
I traded GT5 in because taking a car that could piss all over everyone or taking a car that you didn't stand a chance in, got boring. Does it fix that?

I play them both so I haven't moved on at all. The patch fixes so much that to go over it right here would be tiring. The only laughable part of the update is the new interiors for most of the standerd cars. Some are great(the F1 cars for example) but most are literally black boxes.
Still one negative on a massive update that fixes more serious problems such as load times and the horrid shadows that occurred at times.

If I had Forza 4 I probably wouldn't bother with this, but I don't, so bring it on.
@SC I think they fixed that problem a while back... every car has a rating and each race has a set range allowed to enter. so if the race is rated 400-500pp and the average opponent is 450pp you can adjust your own car's settings to make the race extremely difficult, easy, or middle of the road.

Honestly this is too little too late. Let's see what kinds of stuff are in the car pack and in the track pack before we get overly excited. Deciding to release this update the same day as Forza 4 is overly ambitious in my eyes. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if they would have released it last week instead.
For anybody who hasn't fired up GT5 in a couple days, I would suggest doing so now. Everybody got gifted the Red Bull X2010 car because that one guy won real races.

Im too picky about realism to pay 60 for Forza and enjoy it. As soon as I did a double barrel roll in the Forza 4 demo and was able to keep driving unimpeded it lost my purchase for now. But again, im just to picky so this update is going to be my racing fun for the rest of the year.
Interior views for all cars? Fuck yeah.

one thing I wish they would do is adjust the HUD settings (again)... I was excited when they added the ability to choose what HUD info to display, but they left out the one option that I assume would appeal to most people. currently, you can turn off your car's info (rpm, mph, tires, gear shift, etc) or turn off everything. makes no fucking sense. I would much rather turn everything off EXCEPT my car's info... I mean really, they fucking fill the screen up with HUD info that isn't very critical to the race, but I can't get rid of that without also ditching my speedometer and tachometer? I get used to having that visual feedback, especially with a manual transmission.

Sorry to burst your anti-sony bubble but forza 4 is not and will not be better than gt5. Played the demo and the cars do not feel realistic at all. So unless you have a ps3 shut your 12 yr old ass up! The download took me 12 minutes. So get a better connection prick!

That point is glorious. Forza 4 just came out, and GT5 came quite some time ago, so that means that if there is less used Forza 4s than GT5s in stock GT5 is teh losing!
Having learned the truth, I will convert to the only true, true American based way of life by buying Microsoft stuff and eating at McDo's.
They got that sweet Monopoly thing.
